The integrated headset is no different than for example a threaded bottom bracket, if the manufacturer does its job it works great, if the manufacturer messes up the frame doesn't work.It is true that most shops can't ream an integrated headtube, but our shops didn't ream our non-integrated headtubes either. We have always done that for them, so nothing has really changed. You have to understand there is no movement between the headset and the headtube, all the moving parts are contained within the headset."
